Terms and Conditions

At General Masonry Supply Venture, we are committed to providing elite architectural materials and unparalleled service. By engaging with our products and services, you agree to the following professional standards and operational policies.

1. Professional Installation Standards

While a General Masonry Supply associate may provide technical guidance on preferred installation methods, we do not assume liability for damages incurred during the installation process.

  • Contractor Discretion: Final installation techniques are at the sole discretion and expertise of your hired contractor or installer.

  • Installation Inquiries: To obtain a professional installation quote, we invite you to contact our sister company, General Masonry Construction.

2. Product Quality & Natural Variations

Natural stone is a product of the earth. As such, it is subject to inherent variations in color, veining, and texture that occur piece by piece and lot by lot.

  • Expectation of Variance: These natural characteristics are not considered defects, and General Masonry Supply Venture is not responsible for these variations.

  • Buyer Responsibility: When placing supplemental or “add-on” orders, it is the buyer’s responsibility to verify the lot match before the order is dispatched.

3. Logistics & Delivery Protocols

Customers are responsible for all delivery-related expenditures, including standard freight, UPS, FedEx, and third-party LTL shipping charges.

  • Damages in Transit: We are not liable for damages sustained during transit via external carriers (UPS, FedEx, etc.).

  • Special Requests: Requests for blind delivery or specific job-site requirements must be communicated at the time of order placement.

  • Liability: General Masonry Supply is not responsible for damages caused by material detention or unloading processes.

  • Returns & Shipping: Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. Additional cartage fees will apply to all returned materials.

4. Payment Terms & Financial Policy

We accept payment via Cash, Check, Wire Transfer, and Credit/Debit cards.

  • Processing Fees: Visa/Mastercard payments incur a 3.5% handling fee; American Express payments incur a 4% handling fee.

  • Order Fulfillment: Failure to settle all invoice charges will result in immediate order cancellation.

  • Credit Terms: Professional credit terms may be discussed following three successful “Cash On Delivery” (COD) transactions.

  • Storage Fees: Material will be held for up to two weeks following deposit. Thereafter, a $200.00 monthly handling and storage fee will be applied.

5. Return & Claim Policy

To maintain our inventory standards, General Masonry Supply Venture enforces a strict 7-day return window.

  • Claims: All reports of shortages or damages must be submitted on the day of delivery completion.

  • Restocking Fees: All qualifying returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee plus return cartage if handled by our fleet.

  • Exclusions: There are no returns on bagged goods, loose masonry units, or materials that have been tampered with, fabricated, or installed.

  • Acceptance of Goods: The act of using or installing a product constitutes final confirmation that the material has met your requirements. No claims will be honored post-installation.
