How do I know how many thin brick flats and corners do I buy for my project?

Thin Brick veneer is sold in flats and corners and usually come in a box of a specified amount.  For example, General Shale Thin Brick comes in boxes of 50 pieces for flats and 25 pieces for corners.  General Shale thin brick flats and corners boxes will cover a stated amount for the area of the project.  Their box of flats will cover 7.3 square feet of surface and a box of corners will cover 5.5 linear feet of surface. Finding your square footage of your project’s area is simple just measure your length times width of your workspace. To calculate your linear feet of your workspace simply measure wall seam of the area you need corners for your project.  Meaning if your walls are 10 feet high, you will need 10 linear feet of corners.
